This role is a salary Grade 7/8, with the base salary for this role starting at $106,025 - $117,363 base plus superannuation, commensurate with experience.

About the Role

As an Associate in the Infrastructure Investor Assurance Team, you provide valuable input, analysis, risk assessment, reporting and administrative support to help strengthen the delivery of the NSW Government's infrastructure program through the implementation of the Infrastructure Investor Assurance Framework.


Besides working with project delivery agencies across the NSW Government, you will also be given the opportunity to impact broader government policy and initiatives in the delivery of capital infrastructure.

Some of the key accountabilities for the role include:

  • Coordinate with other NSW Public Service agencies in an advisory capacity to support the delivery across their significant infrastructure programs.
  • Source, collate and compile information to identify emerging issues or inconsistencies, track, and report on infrastructure and building project progress against established milestones and deliverables.
  • Make recommendations to improve efficiency of the monitoring and reporting on infrastructure projects and programs.
  • Perform Secretariat functions for various related committees which support the Infrastructure NSW's role in reporting project progress and risks.

About You


We are seeking an engineering, construction, policy, infrastructure, project or building professional who has a genuine interest in infrastructure assessment, development, procurement, or delivery and as someone who seeks to proactively contribute.


You will bring experience or tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as engineering, infrastructure, construction, building, project management, law or policy.

In addition, you will bring proficient expertise in using Microsoft suite of tools and have excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail and efficiency.

Strong organisational skills, writing, report production and visual presentation are required.
