Agency Overview


Infrastructure NSW is a NSW Government agency providing independent, evidence based advice to Government in relation to infrastructure priorities and projects.

Its functions and structure are set out in the Infrastructure NSW Act.


Our core functions include providing independent and strategic advice to ensure infrastructure investment decisions are underpinned by robust assessment and long term planning; monitoring NSW's infrastructure program through independent reviews and expert analysis; recommending infrastructure projects to the NSW Treasurer for funding from the Restart NSW fund; and managing the procurement and delivery of nominated priority projects.

About the Role


The Communications team is a dynamic and multi-disciplinary team that looks after some super important areas in the agency - Parliamentary Services & Media, Industry Engagement and Corporate Communications.


This role is critical in coordinating and supporting tasks and various administrative services to ensure the team thrives and achieves all its objectives.


Some of the key tasks will include coordinating team meetings, managing finance procedures, document management, managing mailboxes, and supporting the management of INSW's digital assets, including the intranet and website.

Some event support primarily for internal events will also be required.


About You


This role is for someone that is known for organising everything in sight and loving it You are proactive and achieve genuine job satisfaction from having high attention to detail, developing spreadsheets and processes, and having a varied to-do list.


You bring a positive attitude to work each day, value top-notch customer service to both internal and external stakeholders and you have a genuine interest in supporting all things communication.


You may have loads of admin only experience to offer, or you could be a recent communications graduate with strong Office 365 and admin skills.

Flexible working arrangements such as four days a week will be considered for the right applicant.
