The Manager, Industry Development and Technology will lead the design, implementation and ongoing development of Solar Victoria's industry development strategy and technology guidance requirements.

This will promote industry compliance, growth and innovation and deliver capability building initiatives that monitor and respond to evolving technical developments and standards relevant to Solar Victoria's programs.


This fast-paced, role is an opportunity to work across the distributed energy resources sector with project teams to maximise the reach of some of Australia's most ambitious clean-energy programs and cutting-edge pilot schemes, which contribute to Victoria's renewable, reliable and affordable energy objectives.


Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

Mandatory:


  • Experience in the development of highlevel business strategies that promote industry development, innovation and investment
  • Experience in distributed energy resources (DER) landscape

Desirable:


  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in relevant fields (such as engineering, economics or business)

This is a fixed term position available for a period until 30 June 2025. The work location for this position is Morwell with hybrid work arrangements available, Flexibility may be negotiated for a base location of Melbourne CBD were requested by the successful applicant.
