Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the role of General Manager is an executive position and will form part of the senior leadership team.

It will oversee all areas of manufacturing and performance across multiple sites. Company currently has turnover of $5million.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the Quality, Operations, Production, across manfactuing sites.
  • Preparation and management of national manufacturing budgets
  • Training, coaching and mentoring key staff members within the manufacturing department
  • Supplier management and customer engagement
  • Driving quality planning and lean manufacturing
  • Driving productivity and efficiencies through the implementation of lean manufacturing methodologies including quality planning
To be successful in this position, you will possess:

  • Manufacturing or construction managemnt experience.
  • Solid leadership experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team to deliver results
  • Demonstrated understanding of quality planning and lean manufacturing methodologies
  • Financial management experience including managing profit and loss
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
