  • Maintain the hire fleet in its' optimum operating condition
-
Ensure each unit is readily available for hire;
-
Ensure units that require repairs are processed promptly through the workshop
-
Liaise with the Workshop Supervisor on matters required for the effective repair and maintenance of the hire fleet
-
Liaise with the Field Service Supervisor on matters required for the effective repair and maintenance of the hire fleet in and around the metropolitan area
-
Liaise with Service Agents / Repairers for the timely attendance to breakdowns and issue Repair Orders, including reconciliation, at job completion
-
Liaise with parts department for supply of parts for breakdowns in a timely manner
-
Direct and control allocated employees - monitor repairs and servicing to the hire fleet
-
Monitor and maintain fleet maintenance plans and service schedules for hire fleet
-
Ensure preventative maintenance is carried out as scheduled
-
Ensure units are prepared for hire in keeping with relevant standards and regulations
-
Quality assurance - test running units after all repairs ie; minor and major
-
Establish and maintain customer service / relationships;
-
Customer visit plans for regular and ongoing contact
-
Inspection of units on site to determine faults / swap outs
-
Site visits to check condition of and reading hours on long term hire units
-
Ensure all LPG cylinders / bottles are in good order, compliant, full and maintain records of cylinder hire
-
Liaise with supplier to change out faulty or non-compliant LPG cylinders / bottles
-
All units to be checked in accordance with procedures prior to being hired / off hired
-
Ensure all hire units are returned within 24 hours of agreed off hire term / date
-
Report any abuse or damage to the hire unit to the Hire Manager at off hire; quote repairs and notify customer of pending invoice for damage charges
-
Monitor hire unit maintenance records to ensure there's no over / under services
-
Answer telephones in absence of / in support of hire staff
-
Work in compliance with established workplace policies and procedures
-
Advise non-compliance of procedures, rectify non-compliance and provide solutions to non-compliance
-
Work in a safe manner and comply with requirements of the current health and safety legislation
-
Follow LiftRite's safety and health instructions, policies and procedures
-
Maintain good housekeeping
