_Primary Role_: Achieve maximum sales opportunity, growth and account penetration for specific product lines (Manitou skid & track loaders plus Kobelco mini & heavy excavators) within an assigned territory by effectively engaging with existing and potential clients.


We are looking for a team member who understands a customers mindset, can think outside of the box to provide solutions to meet our customers requirements.

Someone who is agile minded and is positive in their outlook and has that little touch of quirkiness that stands them apart from the rest.


_Core Functions_:


  • Contact and maintan contact in person and electronically with new and existing customer to build a business relationship that generates sales in line with KPI's set by the Sales Manager
  • Maintain accureate customer and prospect records of all visits, contacts and quotes in the Sales Force CRM
  • Outbound prospect new customers within your designated sales territory or where instructed using a range of sales techniques
  • Actively promote the full services and products offered by LiftRite Hire and Sales
  • Accurately quote, tender and negotiate for equipment sales as per the Sales department policies and procedures
  • Demonstrate New, used and Hire equipment to prospects effectively to maximise the potential of closing the sale
  • Complete all relevant sales documenation to process, build up, settle and complete a sale or hire in line with Sales and Hire Department polices and procedures
  • Deliver, hand over and familiarise customers on sold or hire equiment as required
  • Ensure ongoing training requirements are met in order to:
  • Understand the products you sell
  • Understand competitors within your market
  • Understand value add items in line with Wet Sales requirements
  • Maintain sales skills and competency
  • Participate in Salese Department activities that arise from time to time such as display changes, trade shows / exhibitions, some of which may occur outside of regular trading hours
  • Be a leader within LiftRite Hire and Sales to assist all team members to provide our customers the experience they expect from LiftRite

_Details of Functions_:


  • Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory segment to generate new business opportunities
  • Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential
  • Preparation of clear and effective written proposales / quotations for current and prospective customers including prepartion of tenders in line with company policies
  • Expedite the resoltion of customer problems and comp[laints
  • Coordinate salese effort with marketing, sales amangement, accounting, logistics and technical service groups
  • Analyse the territory's potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customers value to the organisation
  • Identify advantages and compare organisations products / services
  • Utilise personal and company social media accounts and platforms to share offers and experiences
  • Provide operator induction / familiarisation on equipment as / where required
  • Complete required documenation in according with work precesses
  • Work in compliance with established workplace policies and procedures
  • Work in a safe manner and comply with requirements of health and safety legislation
  • Adhere to LiftRite and Manitou's safety and health instructions, policies and procedures
  • Share ideas and experience with LiftRite team to assist in growth and achievement
