_ C&K Tewantin Childcare Centre_


At C&K Tewantin Community Childcare Centre, we welcome children from 0 to 5 years of age and provide care and early learning five days a week from 7:00am to 6:00pm.

C&K Tewantin has a large open planned building, comprising of three rooms.

Our surroundings consist of large natural play spaces including trees, scrubs, a large sandpit, a bridge with a dry creek bed, a water course, a boat, a cubby, climbing posts, decks, a vegetable garden with water tank, a bushtucker garden, water wall, swings, fort and mud patch.

We encourage the native wildlife with bird feeders and have our own stingless native bees in the vegetable garden.

We have a wide range of cultural and linguistic background with our families and staff. This provides us the opportunity to incorporate these cultures and languages throughout the centre. Our approach to inclusion and diversity ensures that every child, family and staff member feels safe, welcomed and important.

As an experienced, warm and passionate Lead Educator, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a stimulating education program which provides opportunities for the children, families and the wider community.

You will do so with the support of a passionate team of Assistant Educators and Early Childhood Teachers.

Whether you are an experienced early childhood professional, studying your diploma or bachelors or newly graduated and want to join Queensland's leading provider and be set up for an amazing career journey, we are excited to speak to you You will be energetic, fun and committed to supporting and guiding children's learning and development.

You will need to hold, or be willing to enrol and work towards

  • Diploma level qualification in Early Childhood
  • First Aid, CPR and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
  • Paid Blue Card or Exemption Card
  • A Police Check current within 3 months or willingness to obtain one
All C&K employees are required to undergo background checks which includes a police check.

Also, all C&K employees will need to have obtained their 1st and 2nd vaccinations for COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
