As we move toward implementation of new WMS software, you must have a high level of Warehouse Management Systems experience, PC and RF Scanner experience and general IT know how.

You will take charge in implementing the WMS software, scanning of all items, identification of all raw materials, space management, multiple bin locations per item etc.

We are looking for someone who can prepare this business for growing needs into the future.

Main duties and responsibilities will include:

Lead and manage multiple warehouse teams in several locations across Australia and New Zealand in all aspects of receiving, dispatch and warehouse operations of raw materials and finished goods
Work closely with the internal supply chain functional departments (procurement, production, distribution and sales) to fulfil customer orders
Manage the transfer of stock between warehouses, and analyse daily orders to meet customer requirements (DIFOT) at each warehouse
Continuous improvement of warehouse processes and activities
Monitor inventory levels, ensuring stock integrity and value are aligned with the business objectives
Ensure processes (such as WMS) are followed
Ensure supply chain effectiveness and negotiating rates and service levels with freight companies/ International freight forwarders to ensure best value in our dealings with the service providers
Reviews freight billing for accuracy

To be successful for this role you will have:

Tertiary qualifications with Supply Chain or Warehousing Operations (preferred)
3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role
WHS understanding in a warehouse environment
Experience and understanding of Warehouse Management Systems. Pronto WMS will be highly regarded
Experience in implementing new processes into a busy warehouse
Experience dealing with customers and suppliers
RF Scanning Experience
Current Forklift Licence essential (Side Drive High Reach, Standard Electric or Gas)
