The Opportunity -
In partnership with the ADF and the Commonwealth, Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) provides aircraft maintenance and upgrades, component maintenance solutions, technical support, mission-critical infrastructure support and training on some of the most capable surveillance, command, control, and combat platforms in the world.
ProductConfiguration Management Specialist,**to support the AH-64E Apache helicopter program.
The role is to be based in Enoggera, Brisbane with the Army customer in an integrated Attack Helicopter System Program Office (AHSPO).
- Manage and maintain the programs product definition and design data, technical baselines, engineering changes and approved configuration.
- Coordinate Configuration Control Boards and ensure that engineering change is managed is a controlled manner.
- Prepare and participate in product technical design review and audits as required.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of configuration and data management plans, processes, systems and tools
- Assist to implement and maintain the controls necessary for data and information protection.
- Effectively interface with project team members and our customers to support the operation of the platform.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Formal Configuration Management training / certification is desired;
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferable within a related industry.
- Knowledge and understanding of industry configuration management standards such as ANSI/EIA649, EIA649_1, MIL-HDBK61 and EIA836 is preferred; and
- Welldeveloped communication skills to work collaboratively to a high standard within a multidiscipline team.
- Working knowledge of a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Configuration Status Accounting Tool
**Relocation is available for the preferred applicant.
**NOTE: The commencement date for this role is 1 July 2024
