The opportunity

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for completing daily supply tasks in support of the CH-47F aircraft which will include but not limited to:

  • Assist in the management of assigned items of supply such as breakdown spares and repairable items
  • Inventory assessment by conducting stock analysis to define reorder points and quantities
  • Enter, track, monitor and coordinate customer material and delivery requirements and customer orders
  • Process material returned from customers
  • Identify supply chain alternatives to resolve issues and discrepancies
  • Supply management planning
  • Supply support performance reviews***
    Experience/Qualifications

Must Have

  • Military Integrated Logistics Information System (MILIS), skills, experience and knowledge
  • Advanced Inventory Management System (AIMS) Spares & Repairs
  • Purchasing experience or Simple Procurement qualification
  • Baseline security clearance

Desirable

  • Previous experience in Integrated Logistic fundamentals, such as conducting stock analysis, forecasting requirements and usage assessments, RI (Repairable) and nonRI management within the Defence environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying, establishing and promoting supply process improvements at the project level.
  • Understanding of airworthiness standards
  • Disposals experience
  • Stocktaking experience
  • Competent in the use of PC, MS Windows and MS Office suite
  • Aircraft supply support services knowledge, skills and experience
  • Ability to work successfully unsupervised and in a team environment
  • High level of written and oral communication and negotiation skills to facilitate open interaction between customer support teams, repair agencies and key internal and external stakeholders
