IT Manager

Job Summary/Objective:

The IT Manager will play a pivotal role in leading a diverse and skilled team focused on managing the transition of an insurance business's on-premises data centers to Azure cloud solutions.

This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong blend of management and technical skills, possessing a background in Networking Engineering and Systems Engineering.

The primary responsibilities include overseeing a team dispersed across the APAC region, managing projects, and ensuring seamless migration to the cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a geographically dispersed team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Manage and prioritize projects related to migrating onpremises data centers to Azure cloud.
Ensure effective communication and coordination between team members across different time zones.
Provide technical guidance and expertise in Networking Engineering and Systems Engineering as needed.
Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and report to senior management.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness of new initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
25 years of experience in managing IT teams, preferably in a global context.
Strong technical background in Networking Engineering and Systems Engineering.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and motivating highperforming teams.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Project management expertise, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage resources efficiently.
