THE OPPORTUNITY:

An exciting newly created opportunity has become available for a
Facilities Supervisor to join the Pilbara Minerals team.

Reporting to the HR Manager, this role will oversee and manage the efficient operation and maintenance of the facilities within an office environment.

The role involves coordinating various activities related to facility management, ensuring that the office premises are safe, functional, and well-maintained and closely with employees, vendors, and service providers to ensure a productive and comfortable working environment.

You will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:

  • Facility Maintenance: Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities, including repairs, renovations, and regular upkeep of the office premises. This includes managing contractors, conducting inspections, and addressing any issues promptly to ensure a safe and well-maintained facility.
  • Space Planning and Allocation: Assess office space requirements, plan and allocate space for departments, teams, and individual employees. Ensure that the office layout is optimised for productivity and efficiency.
  • Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers such as cleaning companies, security firms, maintenance contractors, and suppliers and ensure service levels are met.
  • Office Supplies and Equipment: Oversee procurement and inventory management of office supplies, furniture, equipment, and other facilityrelated assets. Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of office equipment.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Implement and promote environmentally sustainable practices within the office, such as energy conservation, waste management, and recycling programs. Identify opportunities for sustainable improvements and cost reductions.
  • Support: Provide assistance and support to employees regarding facilityrelated inquiries, requests, and issues. Address and resolve complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.

ABOUT YOU:


  • Proven experience in facilities management, preferably in an office setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Strong commitment to safety and the environment.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and health and safety regulations.
  • An organised professional, with an eye for detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A flexible approach with a positive cando attitude
