Your Opportunity


We are looking for a talented and skilled individual to join our Materials Management Team as a Demand Planning Specialist.


Reporting to the Manager Materials, Planning and Supply, in this key role you will engage with various areas of the business, be responsible for managing product portfolios, coordinating with vendors and regional teams, ensuring optimal stock levels meet the business demands, leveraging your 3PL and warehousing knowledge to streamline operations and enhance supply chain efficiency.


Your Responsibilities
In this role you will

  • Manage product portfolio, monitor forecast accuracy, and identify potential supply gaps.
  • Coordinate with vendors to expedite deliveries and ensure product availability.
  • Formulate action plans for optimal stock holding and material classification.
  • Conduct monthly portfolio reviews and implement recommendations.
  • Investigate and recommend solutions for supply shortages.
  • Communicate critical supply areas to relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage product supercessions and discontinuations, ensuring system accuracy.
  • Support Sales and Marketing discussions with Supply Chain Management.
  • Assist with ad hoc reports, system testing, and project participation.

The Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Demand Planning.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and
    SAP (exposure to SAP APO will be an added advantage):
  • Knowledge of supply chain concepts and terminology.
  • Able to deliver long term, customer focussed solutions.
  • Resilient and results driven, with exceptional relationship skills.
  • Excellent communication, problemsolving and time management skills with good attention to detail
