Full time permanent position | $68,620 salary package + penalties + bonus

  • Charlestown office | 14 weeks paid training | WFH 2 days a week after probation

Do you enjoy a sleep in? Or do you like to have your mornings to yourself? In this Customer Service position you work

Mondays to Fridays from 12:30pm to 8:30pm, so that you can do your own thing in the mornings.

This role is with a large Australian company who are a market leader in truck and transport insurance. They are now looking for a

Customer Service Consultant to join the team in their modern

Charlestown (Newcastle) office, starting on the

1st of May.


As a customer service consultant you will be the first point of contact for their customers when they run into problems with their truck, and you play a big part in the full problem-solving cycle.

You may have to think outside the box, making this a varied role that will see you work with other service providers like tow companies, medical or incident response.


Whilst this is a diverse position, you will be well equipped to handle a range of different queries and situations due to their 14 weeks of extensive paid training and onboarding.


About the position:


  • Full time permanent position
- $68,620 salary package (inclusive of super) + penalty rates + performance bonus

  • Twilight shifts: 12:30pm 8:30pm, Monday
  • Friday
  • Attractive penalty rates
  • Charlestown (Newcastle) location, state of the art office
  • After a 6month probation the role will become hybrid and you can work from home 2 days a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays
  • Extensive 14 weeks of paid training
  • 1st of May start

What we are looking for:


  • Someone who is empathetic and enjoys helping people
  • Previous experience in customer service, call centre, retail or hospitality would be great
  • Ability to think on your feet and problem solve
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience with computer systems or affinity with technology
  • Resilience and the ability to stay calm under pressure
