Are you motivated, compassionate, and eager to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities? We have an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Casual Support Worker to join our team at ASI Physiology.

Based in the South East, Eastern & Northern Suburbs of Australia, we are seeking a dedicated individual with a preference for gym experience to help us provide personalized care and support to our clients.


About The Role:

As a Mobile Casual Support Worker, you will play a vital role in implementing training and support services aimed at enhancing the living, employment, social, and recreational skills of people with disabilities.

Your focus will be on promoting community inclusion, independence, decision making, and personal choice, tailored to individual needs. Additionally, you may be required to provide mental health support, depending on the client.


Responsibilities:


Personalized Care and Support:

Provide individualized support to individuals with disabilities, assisting them with daily activities such as personal care, medication management, and mobility needs.


Gym Assistance:
Offer one-on-one guidance during gym sessions, ensuring clients safely and effectively perform exercises.


Emotional and Social Support:
Foster a supportive and inclusive environment, promoting emotional well-being, engaging in meaningful conversations, and facilitating community integration.


Daily Living Assistance:
Help individuals maintain a clean living space, plan and prepare meals, and assist with household chores.


Health Monitoring:
Observe and report any changes in physical or mental health to the appropriate healthcare professionals or management.


Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of activities, progress, and incidents. Prepare and submit reports as required.


Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with the support team, including healthcare professionals, therapists, and family members, to ensure coordinated care.


Compliance and Safety:
Adhere to relevant policies, procedures, and legal requirements. Prioritize the safety of individuals by following established guidelines.


Qualifications and Skills:


  • High school pass or equivalent (relevant certifications or training in disability support are a plus).
  • Previous experience in disability support or a related field is desirable.
  • Having an exercisebased background is desirable.
  • Demonstrated empathy, patience, and sensitivity towards individuals with disabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and adaptability.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety protocols.
  • Reliable, punctual, and flexible in working hours.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a car with valid insurance.
  • Potential to move to parttime/fulltime depending on performance.

$ $50.00 per hour
