About the Position:
The Duty Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Centre, ensuring they are prepared and adequately staffed to provide services and activities that are safe and meet the professional service standards of each Centre.
In addition, the Duty Manager is responsible for the day to day management of the water filtration equipment, which includes plant room checks and conducting regular water quality tests to ensure appropriate health standards are met.
About You:
Relevant qualifications (Pool Lifeguard Award, Senior First Aid and CPR) and experience in Lifeguarding and supervising aquatic environments
Sound customer service skills and ability to respond to customer complaints
Ability to work and effectively direct a team
Demonstrated ability to effectively maintain control and concentration over a dynamic workplace
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong time management and problem solving skills.
Requirement of the position:
Pool Lifeguard certification
Level 2 First Aid
CPR certification
Pool Operations Certification (preferred)
Fire Warden Certification (preferred)
Experience in plant room, and equipment maintenance (preferred)
Employee Working with Children's Check
Satisfactory National Police Check; and
Other pre-employment checks may be required depending on the role requirements.
