The Fellowship is offered through the Melbourne Children's Global Health (MCGH) initiative, supported by the Royal Children's Hospital Foundation.

MCGH recognises that capacity development and strengthening learning within health systems in LMICs is critical to reduce inequity and improve child and adolescent health.

Thus understanding of capacity development and learning health systems are core competencies underpinning a career in Global Child and Adolescent Health.

The Melbourne Children's Global Health Training Fellowship will also support the activities of MCGH's Learning Health Systems Working Group.
