The Role
KBR is seeking an experienced ILS Officer to support our EWIS - Joint & Air customer in Adeliade.
The ILS Officer will be responsible for supporting the ILS Manager across all Integrated Logistics activities including but not limited to the following:
- Researching and developing support requirements.
- Providing general logistics support and analysis.
- Conducting general logistics activities.
- Monitoring, controlling, and reviewing contractor deliverables.
- Development and updating of ILS documentation (including a range of technical management strategies and plans, logistic plans, and instructions).
- Development of statements of work for ILS Programs.
- Tender evaluation and source selection.
- Providing advice/input into management and technical reviews and management and coordination of ILS teams.
Required Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Prior experience within ILS Management roles, ideally within CASG/ASD/ADF or Defence (in an acquisition or sustainment environment).
- Prior demonstrated experience and expertise in the development and management of ILS artefacts.
- Prior demonstrated experience and expertise using Defence Inventory Management Systems (MILIS etc.)
- Assist in completing Emerald tasking, including record of equipment defects, configuration change proposal (CCP), engineering investigations and modifications
- Assist where appropriate in the completion of updates to Australian Aviation Authorised Spares System (ADAASS).
- Experience in relating sustainment project/program advice to various business areas.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent client liaison and stakeholder management skills.
- Support and promotes a team culture and collaborative approach to taskings.
This role is based at RAAF Edinburgh in Adeliade and requires a current NV1 clearance (at a minimum).
