Plant Operator - CBD Day Team

Permanent Full Time Opportunity

38-hour week with a 9-day fortnight (Rostered Day Off)

Salary Ranging from $53,979.64 to $62,616.84 plus 11% Superannuation. (Depending on Experience & Qualifications)**
About the Role

You will be required to undertake a variety of operational works as part of a team in delivering routine maintenance of Council's assets and infrastructure within the Parks and Open Spaces and Central Business Districts.

You may be required however not limited to:

Operating small to medium sized plant machinery such as trucks, tractors, large mowing equipment, blowers, chainsaw sand other designated equipment.
Completing manual labouring tasks required for the maintenance of Councils Parks.
Carry out general landscape maintenance in Councils Parks, Open Space and CBD areas.
Daily maintenance checks on plant items, equipment and council infrastructure.

Essential Criteria

Extensive experience in similar position OR Certificate II Qualifications in relevant discipline
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work effectively within a small team environment.
Knowledge and demonstrated experience in the use of operating small and medium plant and machinery e.g. Truck, Tractor, Large Mowing equipment, blowers, chainsaws, hedger with appropriate implementation.
Demonstrated experience in manual labouring roles across a variety of projects in construction and maintenance.
Required to undertake immunisation of Hepatitis and Tetanus.
Current NSW Driver's Licence
Willingness to obtain Light Rigid (LR) or Medium Rigid (MR) within 6 months' probation period.
