    Description

    An amazing opportunity is available to lead a dedicated, professional, and growing team within the Perioperative Services Department at a private hospital in Canberra.

    • Full-time position.

    ROLE OVERVIEW

    This position involves working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to meet patient care needs.

    Key to your success will be achieving outstanding clinical results.

    • Ensure effective operation of the hospital and deliver optimal clinical outcomes.
    • Manage labour and consumable costs efficiently.
    • Ensure compliance with the Infection Prevention & Control Program and NSQHS Standards.
    • Support the GM/DON and ADON with resources and quality activities.
    • Provide educational opportunities for staff.

    CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

    You should possess:

    • Registration with AHPRA.
    • Experience in a similar role within a Theatre/Perioperative setting.
    • Experience with Quality Improvement activities, Infection Control Management, and Accreditation processes.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

    REMUNERATION

    $130k per annum + $5k relocation assistance if needed.

    ABOUT THE FACILITY

    Situated in Deakin, this hospital offers specialized surgical services and excellent amenities.

    The facility features 4 modern operating theaters, a day surgery recovery area, and 38 beds for extended post-operative care, each with its private ensuite.

    Inpatient and day rehabilitation services are also provided, along with an onsite gymnasium.

    Diagnostic services such as pathology, ultrasound, and radiology are available, as well as pharmacy services.
