Leading Hand at our
Clayton branch, working Monday to Friday.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Service Supervisor you will lead the workshop service team with the day to day operations and safety requirements.

This position is great for a developing leader with potential career pathways into Service, Branch and Operations Manager positions within the business.

Daily responsibilities will include the following:

Carrying out service, repairs and maintenance of Cat equipment
Lead and mentor our apprentices and service technicians
Technical troubleshooting and faultfinding, including diagnostics
Scheduling work and managing service work orders
Providing quality customer service at all times

ABOUT YOU
You still love being on the tools but want to progress your career with a pathway into management. Your strong heavy machinery and earthmoving background with excellent diagnostic skills and technical knowledge will see you succeed.

To be considered for this role you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:

A fully qualified Diesel Technician with prior experience leading a team of technicians
The ability to mentor, motivate and coach apprentices and technicians
Understanding of computer systems, including Microsoft Office
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Committed to delivering superior customer service
Excellent work ethic and a positive attitude
Effective time management and ability to work unsupervised
A strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures
