About the Role:

The MEX & Purchasing Co-ordinator is responsible for all purchasing requirements and preparation and control of work packages for maintenance activities across the site.

The focus of the role will be to ensure all purchasing needs are met and effectively co-ordinate daily maintenance team activities as per the site's Asset Management Strategy to maximize plant availability and minimise costs.

Your responsibilities will include:

Ensuring employees follow the procedures, policies & legislative requirements designed to protect their own health and safety, and that of others.
Maintain preferred suppliers, and materials cost/stock files in consultation with the Regional Accountant
Raise and place orders orders for site and documentation in conjunction with Accounts and administration personnel
Periodic preventative maintenance tasks and resultant corrective actions, Work Order Requests from production partners, workshop overhauls, equipment/infrastructure repairs are allocated and completed in a planned, timely manner.
Maintain complete records for all maintenance activities through the CMMS system with the assistance of mobile data control.
Plan and coordinate maintenance shutdown work with the Maintenance Supervisor
Upkeep the MEX/CMMS system, ensuring the Asset and documentation is up to date
Maximise equipment availability/reliability to site's operations including infrastructure and production equipment.
Ensure that all maintenance activities are planned.
Assist with reviewing Maintenance labour and material cost performance on a weekly and monthly basis to ensure performance is to standard.
Assist in monthly stocktakes

About you:

3+ years in a similar role in a manufacturing environment
Previous experience in ERP systems and MEX
Maintenance planning tools
