Your role


The Assistant Centre Administration Officer will need to undertake various administrative duties and support the day-to-day performance and productivity of the centre.

In this role there will be face to face contact with ex-offenders under supervision in a controlled environment.


Duties will include:

  • Assisting with general administration duties e.g., managing inmate accounts, completing purchasing activities, monitoring shared inboxes, answering the phone and ensure the team is supported in accordance with directions provided by your manager
  • It is ideal to have a current forklift licence or willingness to undertake the training if required
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and your technology skills will help you stand out above the rest
  • Always displays integrity
  • A true team player with excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to always maintain confidentiality
  • Resilient and able to work in a role with competing priorities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure are the key attributes to succeed in this fastpaced role
