The role:

Our Govt client is seeking an experienced
Scrum Master responsible for leading multiple teams and areas, fostering and growing Agile principles, processes, and practices.

What your day will look like:

Alignment of the Agile team and Product Owner to the Scrum process and Scaled Agile method
Ensure all key events take place and are effective and collaborative, such as:
Iteration Planning,
Backlog Refinement,
Iteration Review,
Daily Standup,

- and Iteration Retrospective

Track iteration progress, remove impediments, and guide and develop the team in normalizing estimating techniques to help estimate User Stories, Features, and EPICS
Assist the team to prepare and contribute to the Agile Release Train (ART) System Demo (showcase)
Manage dependencies with other teams, collect Scrum metrics, and contribute to Scrum Master Chapters and Communities

Requirements:

Ability to educate, coach, and train others in Agile methodologies, techniques, processes, and tools
Experience in designing and implementing Agile operating models and strategies
Ability to build and sustain relationships with stakeholders, government agencies, and industries
Experience in facilitating and leading complex Agile ceremonies and resolving complex issues
Ability to track iteration progress, manage dependencies with other teams, and foster code quality practices
Research Agile trends, industry dynamics, frameworks, and tooling to guide the organization's Agile maturity

Qualifications & Experience:

At least 23 years recent experience as scrum master in the Commonwealth environment
Experience working in an agile software development
Bachelor's degree in business, Business Administration or relevant information Technology field
