The University's Indigenous strategy for , presents several important priorities and opportunities to help strengthen the University's partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders to achieve the broader purpose that seeks to benefit society through the transformation impact of education and research.

To realise these strategies, the University has established a dedicated office within Human Resources that will focus on attracting, engaging, retaining and developing Indigenous colleagues into the University.


We are delighted to partner with the University of Melbourne to appoint 3 key HR roles to the newly formed Office; Human Resources Director - Indigenous Employment & Development and two Human Resources Business Partners -Indigenous Employment & Development.


The Human Resources Business Partners - Indigenous Employment and Development report to the HR Director and will provide generalist HR advice and expertise to support Indigenous employees, HR colleagues and Divisional leaders in managing Indigenous employment matters.

Encompassing all aspects of the employee lifecycle, they will share their HR expertise and knowledge, reflective of their strong understanding of Indigenous culture and practices.
