DESF provides staff to various SIL Providers in WA with services from administration to disability support workers.


Description:


The Disability Empowerment and Support Foundation is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Quality and Compliance Manager.

This permanent, Part-time position is located in the Perth Area within the Administration department.

As the Quality and Compliance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organisation meets and exceeds all quality and compliance standards.

Your attention to detail and commitment to upholding best practices will be essential in maintaining our high standards of service delivery.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Conducting regular audits to assess compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for corrective action.
  • Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to address qualityrelated issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Preparing reports on quality performance for management review.
  • Staying informed about industry regulations and developments to ensure ongoing compliance.

Skills and Experiences:


  • Proven experience in developing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures
  • Demonstrated knowledge of compliance standards and regulations within the disability support sector
  • Strong understanding of administrative processes and systems
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Aptitude for leading and managing a team to ensure adherence to quality and compliance requirements
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive audits and produce detailed reports on findings
  • A commitment to upholding ethical practices and maintaining confidentiality in all aspects of work
