    Description

    This dynamic and growing Certified Practising Accounting practice provides professional services in the areas of Business Services, Tax Compliance, Auditing and Financial Planning. They currently have an opportunity for a business services accountant from a junior level who is looking for a role that has a clear career path. You will report into a successful but very approachable and relaxed manager who takes the time to mentor and support.

    Your Role Will Include:

    • General Business Accounting & Taxation
    • Preparation of financial statements
    • Preparation of Business Activity Statements
    • Preparation of Fringe Benefits Tax returns
    • Tax Returns for Companies, Partnerships, Trusts & SMSFs
    • Understanding of complex tax issues CGT, FBT, GST, and more

    Ideally You Will:

    • Have started CA/CPA (or be willing to do so)
    • Have a minimum 2 years' experience in Australian public practice - business services/taxation
    • Experience with small to medium sized businesses and high net-worth individuals
    • Have a solid understanding of tax legislation
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
    • Have experience with MYOB AE, Solution-6 / MAS and XERO
    • Have excellent communication skills with a high energy level whom works well both independently and as part of a team
    • Have good technical and processing skills
    • Have a good understanding of applicable tax regimes and various entity structures
