The Company
Our client is an exciting high growth consumer goods business backed by a long standing and established national group. Due to continued growth, they are presently recruiting a Junior National Account Manager with experience with

luggage,

bags or related products.


The Role


You will be tasked with managing existing business and unlocking new product opportunities in existing and new accounts such as Kmart, BigW, Target and other national retailers.

The business has achieved substantial growth and is looking for an entrepreneurial minded individual to:

  • Develop and maintain synergetic relationships with key customers
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of key customer's businesses
  • Accountable for meeting and exceeding key objectives
  • Identify growth opportunities and new sales channels
  • Develop and implement joint business plans with customers
  • Implement change through data analysis
  • Develop and implement promotional strategies through the effective use of trade spend
  • Launch new products through collaboration with customers and development team

Skills and Experience

  • Account management experience with
    luggage,
    bags or related product environment
  • Ability to negotiate with senior retail buyers/executives.
  • Experience in building business plans collaboratively with customers to achieve desired outcomes for both parties
  • Relentless in achieving set targets
  • Thrive on the closure of a deal and have a mindset of over delivering
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced, cando environment with low supervision
