About the role and you:

Working within our clients procurement department, you will be responsible for:

Maintain an excellent working relationship with key internal stakeholders.
Working with relevant departments to manage the purchasing of relevant, specialised Parts and Services in line with project requirements and timeframes.
Manage ongoing stock level and ensure all required orders are placed in order to maintain baseline levels at all times
Manage ongoing purchasing records
Work with relevant internal departments to identify, advise and support the companies purchasing processes and procedures
Provide support to team members and encourage strong communication, knowledge sharing, coaching and a positive and collaborative culture.
Establish relationships and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Champion value improvement and cost reduction initiatives to continually improve business performance.

To be successful, you will need the following:

Australia Citizenship is a must
Ideally you will hold a Baseline Security AGSVA Clearance
Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline i.e. Engineering, it would be an advantage
Minimum 3 years experiences within the Procurement space
Excellent communicator with the ability to positively influence and negotiate effective outcomes across diverse teams
Consultative approach, solutions driven, collaborative
Selfmotivated with the ability to work with autonomy
