Our client is an award-winning creative experience agency, based in Sydney.

They conceptualize, design, and deliver truly immersive and transformative experiences and environments that reflect the remarkable stories of some of the most coveted luxury brands in the world.

We are looking for a passionate and accomplished Production Manager/Designer to help bring these ambitious and bespoke creative experiences to life.


The role:


Working under the direction of the Head of Production and the Creative Director, and supporting the wider Production team, this hybrid role is responsible for the development, design, and execution of all aspects of technically challenging and intricate event projects.

From conception, research, determining the best production approach and partners, design development and onsite delivery.

  • Contribute to the creative concept development and preparation of all client proposals/pitches
  • Support all aspects of design development of projects. Including the creative of design assets, researching creative solutions, briefing and managing relevant suppliers, onsite delivery of all design aspects of projects, and styling
  • Interpret creative and design direction into a production reality through scoping, planning, drafting, visualising, briefing, sampling, producing, and executing.
  • Contribute to improving every project by innovating more sustainable, transportive, and strategic ways to maximise client impact and investment.
  • Draft floorplans, technical plans, and 3D production drawings to support the design, production and technical delivery
  • Oversee and implement WH&S, risk management, building compliance and permitting requirements
  • Manage projects with budgets up to circa $3m
  • Managing multiple projects and tasks to deliver them ontime, on budget, and to the highest standard
  • Source, brief and manage all production, technical and logistics suppliers and leverage those relationships to maximise value and outcomes
  • Unwavering attention to detail and passion to deliver creative projects to the highest standards
  • You will have a minimum of 35 years relevant Production Design and/or Production Management experience
  • Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Set Design, or related spatial design background will be highly regarded
  • Proficiency in 3D modelling and rendering (Vectorworks or other 3D programs preferred)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Suite is imperative
  • Experience in production, custom build, fabrication and technical (AV, lighting and rigging) aspects of experiential, spatial design or related disciplines
  • Experience in brand activations and live events is highly beneficial
  • Highly developed and demonstrated project management skills, ability to meet deadlines and to balance competing priorities in a dynamic and highprofile work environment
  • You will be a strategic thinker, effective collaborator and passionate about achieving excellence in all elements of your projects
  • Evening and/or weekend work will be required when the agency has an event on
  • You will be a collaborative team player, working with colleagues to constantly evolve, refine and elevate the creative vision of projects
