About the Role:


Supporting operational leaders in a time of significant transformation, this role supports the newly created Social Enterprises Division which includes manufacturing, landscaping, hospitality and more.

In a growing organisation, working closely with managers and staff, this role assists in delivery of generalist HR advise, covering employee relations, remuneration and performance management.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Support and facilitate performance management activities
  • Provide support and advice to staff and management across the employee lifecycle
  • Manage and investigate HR related cases including discipline, grievance, and WHS
  • Support the Work Health and Safety team in the promotion and implementation of WHS initiatives
  • Contribute to the development of new and existing policies and procedures

About You:


With your significant experience as a generalist HR professional, you will be used to working in a fast paced and dynamic environment, your flexibility and resolve will be second to none and your communication skills will be outstanding; being able to liaise across all levels of a business.

You will have a proven record of developing effective professional relationships with people leaders and employees in order to work in partnership and to meet the ever-changing needs of our business.


Other knowledge, skills and attributes include:

  • Highly experienced in influencing, negotiation, and consultation skills
  • Proven track record of managing workplace investigations
  • An ability to confidently communicate across all levels of stakeholders
  • An ability to identify, contribute to, create, and implement contemporary management solutions to businesses
  • Knowledge of legislation relevant to human resources management and providing advice in award and policy interpretation
  • Qualification in Human Resources, Organisational Development, or similar fields, or relevant work experience


For this role the following documents must be provided prior to a formal offer of employment with Bedford Phoenix Incorporated.


  • A National Police Clearance (no older than six months old)
  • Driver's licence
  • NDIS worker screening clearance, or other NDIS approved clearance to work in the disability sector
  • Evidence of right to work in Australia
