Essential Ingredients

Working closely with Cultivate's General Manager to influence positive culture, innovative programs, and outcomes across the HR & People and Culture Scope.

Operating within a close-knit team of leaders focused on delivery contemporary solutions that enhance team culture providing maximum positive social impact.


Key to this role's success is being able to positively influence outcomes through coaching and mentoring, combined with the ability to implement new methods and strategies aligned to project outcomes.

In addition, the ability to assist in developing the knowledge of the leadership in best practise across HR & People and Culture will ensure consistent messaging across multiple sites.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver HR outcomes in major projects
  • Identifying skills gaps, creating training programs, and facilitating the professional development of employees
  • Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure that the recruitment and selection process aligns with the organization's strategic needs and helps attract the right talent
  • Support and facilitate performance management activities
  • Manage and investigate HR related cases including discipline, grievance, and WHS
  • Support the Work Health and Safety team in the promotion and implementation of WHS initiatives
  • Support the HRM with workforce planning identifying gaps in skills or talent and developing strategies to address those gaps

About You:


With your significant experience as a generalist HR professional, you can confidently work in a fast-paced commercial environment, your flexibility and resolve will be second to none and your communication skills will be outstanding; being able to liaise across all levels of a business.

You will have a proven record of developing effective professional relationships with people leaders and employees in order to work in partnership and to meet the ever-changing needs of our business.


Other knowledge, skills and attributes include:

  • Qualification in Human Resources, Organisational Development, or similar fields, or relevant work experience
  • Proven experience in HR projects or acquisitions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detailoriented with excellent problemsolving abilities
For this role the following documents must be provided prior to a formal offer of employment with Bedford.

  • A National Police Clearance (no older than six months)
  • Evidence of right to work in Australia
  • 100 points of identification
