Full Time Term Contract up to September 2024
Salary from $90,170 up to $107,809 per annum plus superannuation**

About the position:
This position offers a great opportunity for someone passionate about social justice, community participation, arts and culture.
You will be part of a highly motivated team of professionals committed to providing great outcomes for the community
During the thirteen-month contract you will have the opportunity to use your plan making skills, leading the renewal of Creative Wollongong , Council's Cultural Plan and actively contributing to the new Reconciliation Action Plan
A typical day will see you providing advice across the organisation on social and cultural trends and issues, undertaking social research, preparing data including demographic data and undertaking social impact assessment on policy and planning matters.

Selection Criteria -
- Do you hold a recognised degree qualification in the social sciences area or relevant discipline? Please explain how your qualification is relevant to this position.
- Outline your experience undertaking social research, interpreting and analysing data including demographic data.
- Tell us about your experience developing cultural and community plans.
- Please outline how you have worked with internal and external stakeholders to deliver strategies and initiatives to support inclusion and equity.
- How have you applied the principles of community and cultural development and community engagement in your work?
- Do you hold a current Class C Driver's licence?
