    Description

    Join Our Team as an Assistant Accountant


    Our client is a collaboration of top infrastructure companies working on projects nationwide. They are in need of 3 highly motivated individuals to join as Assistant Accountants due to increased workload.

    This is a short-term opportunity lasting approximately 2 months, starting immediately in South Brisbane. Easy access to public transportation and a dynamic team of 30+ members await you.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Assist in financial statements and reports preparation
    • Manage accounts payable and receivable
    • Reconcile bank statements and forecast cash flows
    • Support budgeting and forecasting tasks
    • Handle tax returns and compliance submissions
    • Participate in audit preparations
    • Contribute to reporting and work packages

    Requirements:
    • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
    • CPA or CA certification is desirable
    • Over 2 years of accounting or finance experience
    • Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Able to work independently and within a team
    • Keen eye for detail and high level of accuracy
