    Introduction

    We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join Metso. You will be responsible for the quotation, order and backlog management of the entire Quotation and Order Life cycle, through to invoicing.
    In this position, you will report to the Manager Customer Service, Australia.

    This position is ideally located in our Brisbane office, but we are happy to consider Tomago, NSW location as well.

    You will join a team of Customer Service experts, who are passionate about providing the best service possible.

    We work closely with our colleagues and our internal stakeholders. The members in our team are located across the East Coast.

    What you'll do

    This role will cover all aspects of Quote and Order Management, some of the responsibilities will include;

    • Courteous, efficient handling of customers enquiries. Reply to customers within the same day

    • Cost control and supervision of site service purchasing and invoicing including debtors

    • Responsible for the order expediting feedback to customer

    • Responsible for invoicing paperwork as required

    • Use telephones and other voice to voice platforms e.g. MS Teams to reach out to customers and Field Service Operations teams to gain updates, confirmations, liaise issues and proactively drive excellent customer experience

    • Assist with spare parts quotes

    • Actively participate in weekly team meetings and updates. Co-ordinate meeting with Field Service Managers to discuss upcoming shutdowns, events, customer experience

    • Own the customer day-to-day relationships

    • Undertake ongoing necessary training to become competent and resourceful

    • Invoice to be completed within 6 days after technical completion for customer satisfaction

    • Debtor to be followed up at 31-60 days

    Who you are


    • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role

    • Proven experience using SAP (desirable)

    • Able to collaborate with external and internal stakeholders

    • Proven customer handling skills and a customer satisfaction focus

    • Detailed understanding of quotation and order fulfillment processes

    • Working knowledge of verbal and written English, fluent in local language

    • Basic understanding of relevant technologies

    • Experience with the following Software programs and systems is preferred and highly regarded -
    Salesforce, Ariba, Power BI and MS Teams
