_Experience + drive + people skills + the willingness to roll up your sleeves.... every day_

Focussing on the provision of timely, relevant, and needed services, this organisation works with the migrant, culturally and linguistically diverse communities that live south of Brisbane.

With services spanning the settlement of new people into the community, language training, help for the aged and disability sectors, special support for children, young people and families and social engagement programs promoting healthy lifestyles, it has a very wide and ever-changing remit.

Consequently, this position as Manager of Aged Care/Disability Services is a strategic and influential role at Senior management level. But... it is also essentially operational, hands-on, and can-do. It is not 'just' an overseer's role but an opportunity to change lives by getting in and 'doing it'

That said, it does - of course - contain strong managerial aspects where you'll manage and lead teams, work with various Aged Care and Disability team coordinators to provide strategic and operational oversight, direction, and leadership, solve problems, pre-empt others and stand behind your sound and ethical business decisions.

As a driven self-starter with relevant qualifications, experience, and a sterling record in an Aged Care Service management role (or comparable senior position), you thoroughly understand aged care and disability support.

Taking a leading role in the development of strategies, systems, and processes to support the aged care reforms.

Familiar with both the standard expectations and the ever-present 'expect the unexpected' aspects of a busy role such as this, you understand the importance of being able to work autonomously, continually review your priorities, take decisive action, and pool your resources.

Patient, practical and calm under pressure, you have excellent communications and interpersonal skills that allow you to consult, liaise and negotiate effectively with a diverse range of different people.

It's expected you are by nature, helpful and accessible, open, and supportive, inclusive and non-judgemental.

If so, you should find this role very comfortable. Within the security of its caring culture and well-resourced, high performing team structure, it's very easy to
_live _your values, every day as you evolve new and better ways to enhance this very worthwhile business.
