When this nonprofit was founded in 1960, life expectancy rarely went beyond early childhood. Bit by bit, research and medical advances have changed that.

Today, with ongoing treatment, 60% of those affected by this condition are aged over 1- with some people surviving into middle age.

But the fight has just begun.


Advocating for the entire community, this innovative NFP raises funds for research, membership programs, education and to raise public awareness of this debilitating condition.

An opportunity has arisen to join their inventive fundraising team on a full-time basis, commencing as soon as possible. Your excellent written communication skills will have you delivering effective fundraising campaigns.


Your role will include:

  • Develop campaign briefs and coordinate the delivery, monitoring, implementation, and evaluations of digital and peer to peer fundraising campaigns and online fundraising events.
  • Coordinate all digital aspects of national and statewide online and direct mail campaigns.
  • Providing effective communication channels with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage relationship with digital marketing and communication suppliers to ensure they are aligned with the client's objectives.
  • Ensure all online and physical fundraising campaigns are integrated and digital channels are used effectively.

You will also have:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification
  • Marketing and Communications highly regarded
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience in utilising social and digital platforms
  • Experience in working with CRM systems, including Salesforce
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
  • Current driver's licence and access to own vehicle
