Our Opportunity
PROK is currently recruiting for a Document Controller to be part of our Projects Team. The position is a fixed-term opportunity for six months based in Bayswater, WA.


Your key responsibilities in Document Control will be as follows;
The role will support document management across Prok's projects.

Working within the Contracts and Projects department, the key responsibilities of the role include:


  • Be entirely fluent in document control principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in QDMS document control software is preferable.
  • Interpret project specific document control specifications and implement them into PROK project controls.
  • Prepare documents for submission by following clients' documentation standards e.g. add cover page and document numbering, etc.
  • Transmit documents to clients via portals such as Aconex, PIMS, TeamBinder, etc.
  • Maintain Supplier Documents and Data Registers (SDDR)
  • Working with the Project Coordinators (PCs), and Clients to manage their deliverables and track progress.
  • Followup and drive document deliverables with document owners.
  • Attend meetings with clients to represent documentation related matters.
  • Revise documentation for minor administrative corrections.
  • Take minutes on weekly project review meetings.
  • Generate status and expediting reports of internal and external deliverables weekly.
  • Be active and contribute to internal discussions and meeting about projects, risk, and improvement opportunities.

The Right Person
To be considered for this opportunity, the right person will have:

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in a similar role within Mining or Heavy Industry
  • An active listener who positively engages with stakeholders.
  • Effective time management skills to keep both self and the project on time.
  • Previous experience with databases and data administration roles
  • Advanced experience using Microsoft Office Suite and PDF editor.
  • Be comfortable working with spreadsheetbased software.
