Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Warehouse OSR (Off Site Receipting) Supervisor to effectively supervise and organise routine and daily operations of the Warehouse/Supply Base in Forrestfield WA.

As the Warehouse OSR Supervisor, you will:

Supervision and coordination of employees and sub-contractors so that all resources are employed efficiently; to ensure that all activities are performed safely, accurately and in accordance with customer requirements (to meet policy and regulatory obligations)
Ensuring goods are shipped in the most timely, safe and efficient manner according to documented processes, including planning the transportation route and payload, and selecting the mode of transportation
Management of warehouses including responsibility for timely and accurate activities including but not limited to receipting, put away, picking, despatch and cycle counting
Scoping, planning and delivery of continuous improvement projects

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A proven track record within a similar role (3+ years experience)
Sound understanding of Integrated Logistics and Transportation
Excellent knowledge of Warehousing and Distribution best practice, particularly in relation to the oil and gas industry
Ability to determine staffing and equipment to meet scheduled workloads, whilst actively ensuring cost optimisation by minimising outlays (resourcing with planned allocation of labour and lift capability)
Intermediate computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook, SAP, JDE, Oracle etc.
Understanding of Quality Management and Continuous Improvement concepts
