Job Description:


We are currently looking for a Warehouse OSR (Off Site Receipting) Supervisor to effectively supervise and organise routine and daily operations of the Warehouse/Supply Base in Forrestfield WA.

As the Warehouse OSR Supervisor, you will:

  • Supervision and coordination of employees and sub-contractors so that all resources are employed efficiently; to ensure that all activities are performed safely, accurately and in accordance with customer requirements (to meet policy and regulatory obligations)
  • Ensuring goods are shipped in the most timely, safe and efficient manner according to documented processes, including planning the transportation route and payload, and selecting the mode of transportation
  • Management of warehouses including responsibility for timely and accurate activities including but not limited to receipting, put away, picking, despatch and cycle counting
  • Scoping, planning and delivery of continuous improvement projects

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record within a similar role (3+ years experience)
  • Sound understanding of Integrated Logistics and Transportation
  • Excellent knowledge of Warehousing and Distribution best practice, particularly in relation to the oil and gas industry
  • Ability to determine staffing and equipment to meet scheduled workloads, whilst actively ensuring cost optimisation by minimising outlays (resourcing with planned allocation of labour and lift capability)
  • Intermediate computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook, SAP, JDE, Oracle etc.
  • Understanding of Quality Management and Continuous Improvement concepts
