Job Description:


We are searching for a Transport Supervisor to join our Grocery division to effectively manage and organise the delivery of Coles loads throughout the Perth Metro area.

This role will work semi-autonomously, at our shared Perth Airport site, and manage the AM shift fleet allocation Monday (6am-4pm), Thursday, Friday & Saturday (5am-3pm).

As the Transport Supervisor, you will:

  • Determine and arrange daily/weekly labour and vehicle requirements according to volume and time needs to satisfy the customer.
  • Champion safety and ensure the work in performed in accordance with customer, site and Toll safety values.
  • Liaise with the customer for load requirements, ensuring a buffer window is in place.
  • Promote a customer first mindset, and maximise profitability by leading the team to meet standards and expectations.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in the transport industry as a fleet allocator (highly desired)
  • A great attitude and willingness to learn
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the local Perth Metro area.
  • Ability to work autonomously, and within a team.
  • Customer first mindset, and a safety focused attitude.
