An outstanding opportunity has arisen within our Marketing team to undertake the role of
Marketing Manager, Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa on a full-time 12 month contract with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.

Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa is located on the world famous Cable Beach in Broome, far north Western Australia.

Broome is easily accessible by plane to all major Australian cities and offers a relaxed lifestyle.

Our property has 225 rooms of varying styles, 4 restaurants, pool side bars, tour desk, resort shop and a full service Day Spa and Hair Salon.

Based in Perth WA, you will be working under the direction of the General Manager, Marketing & Partnerships to develop and execute business development and marketing strategy, in collaboration with the CBCRS team to exceed revenue and occupancy, while championing the CBCRS brand and guest experience
Essential Duties

  • Essential duties will include, but are not limited to, the following: _
  • Proactively seek and develop opportunities within the business and tourism communities both in WA and the East Coast to meet CBCRS revenue targets as directed by General Manager, CBCRS
  • Develop and execute an annual marketing plan to maximise revenue, occupancy and guest experience in consultation with GM, Marketing and Partnerships and GM, CBCRS
  • Collaborate with Resort stakeholders to define campaign strategy, communications and campaign activity
  • Manage the production of marketing collateral in line with the CBCRS brand book
  • Manage and support the creation of collateral for all F&B within the resort, including menu changes
  • Lead the creation of content and campaign materials be used across all marketing channels.
  • Represent the Resort at events onsite as guest and promotions liaison as requested by GM, CBCRS or GM, Marketing and Partnerships
  • Represent the Resort at events to drive sales and brand advocacy.
Integrate the CBCR brand through Hawaiian brand assets to promote the Resort

  • Manage the relationships with external providers including the CBCRS creative agency and media buyer
  • Attend and seek networking opportunities and events to promote the Resort in an ambassadorial capacity to develop revenue opportunities
  • Custodian of the CBCRS brand, and the face of the Resort in the media.
Qualification Requirements

  • Qualifications, training and development in digital media, marketing strategy and communications, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5years' experience working in or associated with the discipline of the job.
  • Knowledge of and experience within tourism, events and/or hospitality.
  • Experience and ability to host large scale events with stakeholders aligned to the Resort brand.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of and experience in digital marketing, and campaign development.

  • Ability to effectively prioritise and manage multiple deadlines whilst delivering accurate and quality work.

  • Highly proficient in the use of computers and able to quickly learn new systems with training
