As the Asset Systems Lead, you will be responsible for assist in the development and continual improvement of the Asset Management Information System (AMIS), to align with PBPL's Asset Management Framework, Strategy and Asset Management Roadmap.

This important role within the business will form information driven asset management decisions from now through to our 30-year horizon

As an integral member of the technology team, you will:

  • Maintain, improve, and integrate the Strategic Asset Management Plan and Asset Management Information System.
  • Assist in the specification, implementation, improvement, and integration of information systems including AMIS, GIS & BIM, SCADA, Water Quality database, O&M Mobile solution, Hydraulic Models, digital twins, and other innovations from an Asset Management perspective.
  • Lead specification, review, selection, and development of various asset management tools to benchmark financial performance, asset condition/performance deterioration, failure and renewal forecasting and lifecycle costs.
  • Contribute to the development of Asset Management Plans
  • Integrate all lifecycle OPEX, CAPEX (renewal) and rehabilitation costs for asset classes into the AMIS.
  • Develop assessment tools to benchmark existing AM process outputs, identify deficiencies and facilitate the improvement of processes.
  • Review and analyse processes within the various asset management functions of planning, design, construction, operations, maintenance, and renewal.

  • You'll demonstrate experience as a successful Asset Systems Lead.
  • You'll have experience in championing and leading asset management in interactions with key stakeholders.
  • You'll understand various asset management tools and systems.
  • You'll be confident in developing and implementing processes relating to asset management.
  • You'll have experience working in a similar industry and environment.
