About the Role

Opportunity available for a Cost Analyst to join an established engineering company within the project delivery and consulting services for a 12-month contract.

You will be responsible for coordinating the overall cost analysis activities on major complex projects and be accountable for the preparation and accuracy of cost reports while collaborating with project management and clients on all matters relating to cost control.

Key Criteria

Responsible for establishing, maintaining and updating cost control budgets
Accountability for monthly cost reporting and monthly financial reporting
Drive financial consistency and accountability within the team and projects
Track productivity measures and identify potential concerns or inconsistencies
Manage ongoing productivity reporting and identify inefficiency
Liaise with key stakeholders on an ongoing basis regarding report findings, potential concerns and solutions.
Ensure standards, processes and procedures meet clients' requirements with effective communication channels with associated management.
Proactively identify potential areas of concern or improvement, to maximise cost effectiveness on project and work practices.
Ensure additional work into the schedule (scope change) is captured and controlled in relation to costs.
Previous SAP (essential)
