About the role
Reporting to the Head of Donor Derived Therapies, the Production Associate will be responsible for the following:

  • Production and packaging of BiomeBank's biotherapeutic product
  • Assist with the shipping of product globally
  • Participate in equipment maintenance, cleaning of facility, and logging/testing schedules
  • Complete inventory checks and assist in ordering process
  • Assist in other tasks around the lab and office as required including reviewing and completion of documentation to GMP standards
  • Working with donor operations team to ensure production targets are met
  • Assist with process development

Requirements:


  • Laboratory Technician Diploma (or similar)
  • 1 year experience working in a laboratory environment
  • GMP experience highly regarded
  • Anaerobic chamber experience highly regarded
  • Sound understanding of legislation, policies and requirements that impact the laboratory environment including work health and safety and privacy requirements

Desirable skills, experience, and attributes for this role:

  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with customers, patients and clinical and laboratory staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment, while working autonomously to deliver outcomes within specific timeframes
  • Adaptability ability to perform repetitive processes but also adapt to changes in scheduled tasks in order to meet clinical and professional demands
  • Comfortable working in confined/restricted environment
