About the role
Reporting to the Head of Donor Derived Therapies, the Production Associate will be responsible for the following:

Production and packaging of BiomeBank's biotherapeutic product
Assist with the shipping of product globally
Participate in equipment maintenance, cleaning of facility, and logging/testing schedules
Complete inventory checks and assist in ordering process
Assist in other tasks around the lab and office as required including reviewing and completion of documentation to GMP standards
Working with donor operations team to ensure production targets are met
Assist with process development

Requirements:

Laboratory Technician Diploma (or similar)
1 year experience working in a laboratory environment
GMP experience highly regarded
Anaerobic chamber experience highly regarded
Sound understanding of legislation, policies and requirements that impact the laboratory environment including work health and safety and privacy requirements

Desirable skills, experience, and attributes for this role:

Well-developed oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with customers, patients and clinical and laboratory staff.
Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment, while working autonomously to deliver outcomes within specific timeframes
Adaptability ability to perform repetitive processes but also adapt to changes in scheduled tasks in order to meet clinical and professional demands
Comfortable working in confined/restricted environment
