About the Role


As we head into one of our busiest times of the year, we are seeking an experienced Administration Assistant to work on our Council Events in the lead up to and during the Sydney Royal Easter Show (SRES).

In this role, you will be trusted with the coordination and delivery of internal Council events planned for the SRES.

Working with various departments across the business, you will strive to exceed any expectations set whilst maintaining the utmost high standards of the team.

We are looking for a dynamic, all-rounder who is eager to hit the ground running. You'll need to be tech savvy, creative, supremely organised and passionate about your work.

We expect you will have all the usual skills that come with being an exceptional Administration Assistant, it's the following skills that will ensure you are the perfect fit for us:


  • Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Organizational: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy and completeness in daily tasks and projects.
  • Time management: Effective time management skills to balance workload and meet deadlines.
  • Problemsolving: Ability to analyse information, identify issues, and develop solutions.
  • Interpersonal: Good interpersonal skills to establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adjust to changing situations, work styles, and work requirements.
  • A level of understanding protocols of hosting Vice Regal Representatives, Heads of State and Ministerial Representatives would also be favourable.
  • Be legally entitled to live & work in Australia.
  • Be willing to undertake a police clearance check if required.


This role will require you to work the 2023 Sydney Royal Easter Show period (6 April -17 April 2023) and will include evening, weekend and public holidays.

A high degree of flexibility is essential.
Should you have experience working events or within the events industry this would be viewed favourably.
