THE COMPANY This well known company is the world leader in luxury which manage a high level of prestigious brands. Founded over 30 years ago, this well-regarded company has a presence in major sectors of the luxury industry including fashion & leather goods, perfumes & cosmetics, and watches & jewellery.


THE ROLE The HR Coordinator will work closely with the HR Manager reporting to the Head of HR, to run the daily functions of the HR department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions;
  • Draft employment agreements and prepare new starters' documentation;
  • Work along with HR Manager to prepare monthly and fortnightly payroll for all employees;
  • Implement company induction and employee engagement programs;
  • Handle employmentrelated inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff;
  • Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations; and
  • Assist the HR Manager and Head of HR on all/any special projects.

ABOUT YOU We are on the lookout for an experience HR professional who is energetic, practical, and results-orientated.

To be successful in this position, you will possess the following:


  • True generalist HR experience;
  • Understanding and interpretation of the General Retail Industry Award 2020 would be advantageous;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail;
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines;
  • Knowledge of employmentrelated laws and regulations; and
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Excel.
