Permanent position - attractive annual salary package

  • Open to Canberra and Sydney applicants. Hybrid working environment.
  • Manage a team of 4 whilst remaining hands on technically.

The Role
This role is responsible for managing the voice, data & network teams nationally.

You will ensure the successful implementation of network services and maintenance of the IT network, ensuring SLAs and budgets are met.

Sydney applicants will require frequent travel to Canberra.


Core Duties

  • Maintain, design, setup and configure complex switching environments
  • Provide Strategic advice with the Management and Future Proofing of Voice and Data Networks
  • Assist in the design of multiserver environments and maintain a high level of understanding of LAN
  • Configure and install client and server network software for upgrading and maintaining the network & telecommunication systems.
  • Lead and manage the national Network team.

Experience required

  • CCNA certification or extensive experience (5+ years) in managing and supporting Cisco Data and Voice Networks
  • Knowledge and skills related to network fundamentals, LAN switching technologies, IPv4 and IPv6 routing technologies, WAN technologies, infrastructure services & security & management.
  • Experience with Cisco wireless networks and Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine) as well as VOIP / QoS experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in routing, switching and firewall configuration and monitoring network performance
  • Experience with the design and documentation of Cisco Data and Voice Networks
  • Capacity management and auditing
  • Management of end to end projects

Desirables:


  • Health or aged care experience (highly regarded)
  • Tertiary qualifications in Technology or Computer Science
  • Knowledge of Cisco Prime Infrastructure & DNA Center
  • Knowledge of SD-WAN
