What You Will Be Doing


The Ward Clerk reports directly to the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) of the Infusion Centre & Hospital in the Home and is responsible for presenting a professional, welcoming and informative reception to patients and visitors within the unit.

Additionally, they provide efficient and effective general clerical support for ward staff respecting confidentiality at all times.

  • Ensure a high level of customer service is delivered at all times.
  • Deal with administrative priorities in a timely manner.
  • Respect and maintains confidentiality at all times.
  • Demonstrates positive workplace behaviors and relationships at all times.

What You Need

We anticipate you will have:

  • Demonstrated competency in medical terminology.
  • Sets personal standards of excellence and measures and delivers outcomes in a timely manner
  • Addresses priority tasks first.

  • Please refer to salary circular Victorian Public Health Sector (Health & Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement for salary range. Subgrading will be based on years of experience.
