    ABOUT THE CLIENT:

    PERSOLKELLY has partnered with an accounting firm located in St Kilda to seek a Manager/Assistant Manager Audit to join their team.     ABOUT THE ROLE:

    The career within External Audit services will provide you with the opportunity to provide a range of Assurance services to a variety of clients from small clients to large entities. Their clients are often renowned organisations, of which many have broad international reach. They believe in adopting the use of latest technology to reduce the level of manual testing to ensure that you can focus on the most valuable areas of client service.

    As an Manager/Assistant Manager Audit, you will have the opportunity to lead a team to provide end to end service to our client, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. You must have exceptional leadership capabilities, the confidence to articulate complex issues with clients and partners, and a strategic mindset for this management level role.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Design audit approaches, conduct field audit engagements, and supervise audit teams
    • Participate in the completion of client annual reports and interact with clients to discuss field audit issues
    • Manage projects and engagements profitably by leading the team to perform efficiently
    • Develop and maintain long-term productive client relationships and networks
    • Work closely with the Partners with supporting advisory and audit work
    • Engage in training, coaching and other staff development activities

    ABOUT YOU:

    • 4-5+ years of experience in professional services audit
    • Fully qualified CA / CPA
    • Familiar with compliance to auditing and accounting standards, regulations, ethical standards
    • Team Player, ability to lead, and excellent work ethics
    • Attention to detail
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and phone etiquette
