Are you an experienced professional with a keen eye for project control and financial management? Join our dynamic team as a Project Controller, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success and financial health of our projects.

Based in our Artarmon Office this role offers flexible working as well as a working from home day.


Responsibilities of this role include:


  • Oversee the endtoend financial aspects of projects, including quote evaluations, risk assessments, reliable forecasting, timely invoicing, and active participation in the Project Management Team for effective project control and reliable outcomes.
  • Participate in and/or coordinate assigned projects, focusing on execution and delivery from a financial perspective.
  • Ensure projects are delivered according to plan, within specified timeframes and budgets, supporting business objectives.
  • Efficiently coordinate planning, control processes, and provide operational direction to ensure timely forecasting and invoicing while ensuring adherence to internal and external agreements.
  • Analyse project developments, trends, and nonstandard decisions, presenting informed recommendations and solutions to empower internal decisionmaking.
  • Provide insights on quantitative and qualitative project performance through periodic and ad hoc reports.
  • Use standard reporting guidelines to communicate with the project team, regional management team, and Board of Management.
  • Oversee comprehensive employee management, from attraction and coaching to appraisal and development, ensuring effective staffing, stimulating talent management, and engaging personnel to achieve department/team objectives.


Your focus will be this pivotal role is responsible for financial assessment, the monthly financial management reports, and invoicing clients, in line with project plan and control processes and standards, to realize the project objectives with respect to forecast reliability, working capital, cost control and efficiency.


Qualifications and Skills:


  • An accounting qualification such as CPA or diploma in cost control with significant experience within an organisation of similar size and complexity.
  • Proven experience in project control and financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical and risk assessment skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Knowledge of financial processes and systems.
